Bette & Court Launches Spring 2016 Women’s Golf Collection

DENVER, CO – Bette & Court, a premier women’s golf apparel company, has debuted its Spring 2016 women’s apparel collection. Sport Haley/Bette & Court is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sport-Haley Holdings (OTCBB:SPOR), a publicly traded company.
“Spring is all about options, which is why this collection is fresh in detail and loaded with color,” says Justina Cordova-Bottomley, Senior Designer at Bette & Court. “There are styles and prints to suit everyone, with plenty of UPF built in. Simply put, we have you covered.”
Bette & Court is our performance lifestyle brand, bridging the gap between active andeveryday apparel. It’s where athleticism meets fashion. It’s not only functional, but practical and multisport. It’s ever-changing and that process of constant renewal drives us. Exciting new designs, fabric innovations and cutting edge technology are the result of our focus. We understand what our customer wants in her apparel and what she expects of ours. She is our mission.
The new collection’s Swing Polo is at the brand’s core. We made the Original Sun Protection shirt with mesh under the sleeve. It’s made of Cool Elements fabrication that’s cool to the touch and inherent in the yarns. The lightweight texture and simple mesh underarm produce a hefty UPF50 while maintaining body temperature. It’s offered in two collar choices and 14 color choices.
Enhancing the Swing Polo category is a collection of prints offering bright color combinations, graphic digital prints, florals, geos, subtle patterns and more. As a collection, these are powerful and certainly designed for multiple options in dressing.
The new Swing Crew long-sleeve crewneck features fashion mesh detailing and thumb holes in the sleeves — perfect for reaching a younger audience or athletic feel.
Introduced last season with great success, the Swing Skirt shows a flirty feminine side to the Cool Elements fabric with mesh overlays. It’s now expanding with fresh, new colors and our signature logo print.
Also new is the Twist/Twister 14″ pleated skirt with ribbon seaming and mesh under-pleat detailing. Offered in solids and prints, it’s a perfect tennis-inspired find.
Smooth Fit bottoms — our popular pull-on models — have expanded to include a shorter short with zip front and accent detailing. Offered in several colors, this new addition is sure to give customers new options in the planet’s most comfortable short.
All of the new groups offer unique pieces for each color story:
White Night – No big surprises here, as black and white are always musts with the essential shades of grey accents.
Blue Crush – The rise in women playing all sports has led to the introduction of more refined shades. The hues of Blue Jay and Sky Blue are mixed with neutrals, for understandable and always popular styling.
Red Hot – Sport chic…heather greys mixed with black and white are popped with Crimson for a Red Hot effect.
Pink Lady – A twist of retro with Hot Pink and Green, a nod to preppy look, and a hint of tennis and the courts.
All of these pieces give you smart and focused groupings to enhance your shop’s Swing collection. “The landscape is changing — we are smarter and more deliberate in our apparel choices,” says Cordova-Bottomley. “We want it all. Our color ranges are adapting to this new market of fashletics, where athletic meets every day. Bette & Court brings a functional side to a feminine fashion approach. We are performance lifestyle at its best. We are Bette & Court.”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 30, 2015

Sunice selected as Outerwear Supplier for the International Team at

The Presidents Cup 2015

Montreal, Quebec – Sunice is proud to announce their continuing partnership with the PGA TOUR, having been selected as outerwear supplier for the International Team at The Presidents Cup 2015.

The Presidents Cup will be held October 6-11, 2015, at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Songdo IBD, Incheon City, South Korea. Nick Price is the returning captain of the 12-member International Team, having also led the team in 2013. KJ Choi, who is from South Korea, will be the vice-captain, and Tony Johnston and Mark McNulty are reprising their 2013 roles as International Team captain’s assistants.

“Before the 2013 tournament, I took a poll from the team members to see what kind of outerwear they wanted for The Presidents Cup, and the winner was Sunice” said Price.  “It turned out to be a great choice, as the weather was rough in Dublin, Ohio, so we used the Sunice gear often.  It was a true litmus test. For 2015, no poll was necessary, as the choice was obvious. We are back with Sunice”

The outerwear for The Presidents Cup 2015 International Team uniforms will be constructed of Gore Tex® fabrics enhanced with Paclite® Technology. The players’ uniform package includes: a full-zip rain jacket with stretch back panel inserts; short sleeve rain pullover; rain pants; and a 3M featherless down vest. The uniform colors chosen for the International Team were inspired by the South Korean flag.

“It’s a great honor to be invited, once again, to outfit the best international players,” said Conrad Tappert, president of Sunice. “Working with these demanding golfers makes us better. They notice every detail. We love the challenge”

Sunice will also be outfitting the President Cup International team caddies and entourage.

Carnoustie Sportswear Launches Spring ’16 Men’s Performance Polos

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 29, 2015

Carnoustie Sportswear Launches Spring ’16 Men’s Performance Polos

IRVINE, CA – Golf apparel manufacturer Carnoustie Sportswear has introduced its Spring ’16 men’s performance polos.  The popular company has built its reputation for producing beautiful, high-end cotton golf clothing for the past two decades, and began addressing the sportswear performance side of golf apparel a few seasons ago. Carnoustie Performance apparel is appropriate for the course, office or most any social occasion. Styles feature generous use of spandex for stretch and wearability and special finishing to ensure moisture wicking, UV protection, odor management and easy care.
These  new Performance Knits for 2016 feel like silk but are actually made from a very fine micro polyester. This new product category exemplifies the same luxury and quality that golfers have come to expect from the brand’s cotton garments. “Our performance knits have really taken hold since their Spring ’14 debut, and the market reaction has been very strong,” says company CEO Marshall Mancillas. “All performance fabric is not created equal, and we made a considerable effort to fundamentally understand man-made fibers. We knew we had to offer a technical product that was commensurate with our reputation in cotton. Many variables contribute to the feel, drape and technical characteristics of performance garments, and we only offer the finest quality available — using only the best micro poly available and always blending it with generous amounts of lycra, for just the right amount of stretch and wearability. Our customers like that while much of the styling is responsive to today’s trends, our shirts still evoke a classic, timeless and refined aesthetic.”
The Spring ’16 Performance Polos fall into three distinct merchandise groups for 2016, including the Classic, Resort and Desert collections, each with its own unique feeling. All feature Micro Poly with Spandex, Moisture Wicking, Anti-Microbial, UV Protection and Easy Care.
The Classic collection centers on the American colors of red, white and blue evoking a patriotic feel, perfect for Fourth of July and very important for 2016, a Ryder Cup year. The Resort collection, which features black, white, yellow and a wonderful shade of daiquiri green, is perfect for transitioning into the Spring 2016 season. This group says Spring has sprung!  The colors are fresh and smart. Lastly, the Desert collection, which focuses on orchid purple and citrus orange, conveys that it’s time for fun in the sun. These colors are fun and bright yet they are combined in Carnoustie’s signature fashion to make them wearable and understandable. Mancillas says, “men can wear color if it’s done correctly.  Carnoustie has developed a reputation through the years of using beautiful colors that uniquely combine to be at once impactful yet tasteful.”
It is interesting to note the styling intricacies that Carnoustie brings to every collection.  Mancillas stated, “the use of self collars and placket detailing can do a great deal to update the look of today’s polo. I am having fun going retro. As a designer it is always inspirational to look at the past and reinvent it for present…much of the styling we see today is grounded in the looks of the 70’s.”
“Carnoustie’s Spring ’16 Performance Knits merchandise seamlessly with the balance of the collection, so that our customers can offer a cohesive merchandise group that contains not only timeless mercerized cotton, and other natural fibers, but also the best in what is available on the performance side — with all of the wearability features today’s customer demands,” states Mancillas.

Antigua Announces Spring 2016 Women’s Performance Collection Activewear

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 22, 2015

Antigua Announces Spring 2016 Women’s Performance Collection Activewear

PEORIA, AZ – The Antigua Group, Inc. – one of the nation’s leading designers and marketers of lifestyle and golf apparel under the distinguished Antigua brand – announced its Spring 2016 Women’s Performance Collection activewear.
After two consecutive strong years for the Antigua Performance Collections, the Spring2016 rendition will likely exceed sales forecasts —  based on sales force reaction and hard sales data. The Spring 2016 Women’s Performance Collection is highlighted by fantastic fabrications that combine polyester and spandex, unique prints, color palettes that include beautiful jewel tones, and the continuation of successful silhouettes. This full collection emphasizes light to mid-weight overtops, plus a strong use of heathers through the assortment of polos and sheerless polos. All fabrics and silhouettes have been LPGA Tour-tested.
OVERVIEW
“During the development of the Spring 2016 collection, I felt a desire to be moreconservative with styling and therefore spent my time focusing on fabrication,” says Danielle Dellios, head of women’s design at Antigua. “The activewear marketplace has reached its threshold and consumers are inundated with product offerings. Every brand has its version of ‘ath-leisure’ clothing, so it was up to our design team to create something unique. I found myself wanting to refine the overall look of the collection by eliminating any trend-specific details and keep styling at a minimum. By doing so, the collection evolved into something more sophisticated and classic.”
For example, style Element is fairly traditional in its appearance but features an ultra-soft polyester/spandex irregular heather fabric that gives it a higher value perception. Pure is Antigua’s first basic solid polo in years. It’s an ultra-soft poly/spandex fabric, with basic styling details such as bust darts and angled side seams. In keeping with the minimalist approach, styles like Strive have very basic details, including an open placket and self-fabric collar, but with a nylon/poly/spandex tonal mini-stripe fabric that’s not only super soft, but is also cool to the touch.
PATTERNS
Geometric patterns have been strong in the marketplace for a full year now, so stylesRadical, Ascent, Modern and Champ emerged — each featuring a version of abstract triangle prints. Radical and Champ are both white body styles with a pop of color, whereas Modern and Ascent are color body styles with tonal variations of the print. The sporty aspect of these styles lends itself to the more active customer who wants to look athletic on the course.
COLORS
The color palette for Spring 2016 focuses on highly saturated jewel tones. “We felt the neon colors were slowly fading away and the morebasic, primary colors were coming into play,” says Dellios. “Color direction in the sportswear market has been stagnant, so we took our cues from high fashion and made our our version of a primary palette. For the first time in years, we decided not to run pint, but instead picked a bright clean red called Fire.” Other colors include a true kelly green called Verdant, a vibrant royal blue named Hypnotic, a sunshine yellow aptly named Sunburst, and lastly a step away from the traditional purple with a more berry color called Mardi Gras. These primary jewel tones are paired with black and white throughout the collection.
FABRICATIONS
DESERT DRY™ is a moisture-wicking technology created exclusively for Antigua, to absorb and wick moisture quickly and evenly. The Desert Dry product family includes any garment using a fabric weight of 150 gsm or heavier. Typically fabrics over 150 gsm offer more body and improved drape for the customers who don’t like the ultra-lightweight “clingy” fabrics currently in the market. Examples of Desert Dry styles are Gypsy, Element, Jewel, Ascent, Stroke, Strive, Movement, Maverick, Equity and Pure.
DESERT DRY™ XTRA-LITE (D2XL) combines Antigua’s exclusive DESERT DRY™ moisture-wicking feature with specially constructed ultra-light fabrics for maximum wicking performance and optimum comfort. The D2XL product family includes any garment using a fabric weight of 150 gsm or lighter. These fabrics have been specially engineered to be lightweight while not being overly sheer. This is possible through the use of ultra-fine yarns which gives a fabric more body while not dramatically increasing the weight. Examples of D2XL styles are Champ, Jubilee, Premium, Radical & Modern.

Sport Haley Debuts Spring 2016 Collections

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 16, 2015

Sport Haley Debuts Spring 2016 Collections

DENVER, CO – Sport Haley/Bette & Court — a wholly owned subsidiary of publicly traded company Sport-Haley Holdings (OTCBB:SPOR) and a premier women’s golf apparel company, has debuted its Spring 2016 collections that represent the company mission to evolve, with fresh, new and inspirational apparel.
“These new collections pack a modern version of classic, traditional looks with a sense of energy,” says Cathy Blair, president and creative director at Sport Haley. “Inspired by the islands, our vibrant colors, prints and silhouettes for Spring 2016 are perfect for the season.”
The collections are highlighted by Parrot Cay, a group of resort and cruise apparel. Featuring atropical chic, it’s festive and fun to wear for any occasion. The Swarovski detailing adds a bit of shine. “A little bit longer in length takes you to the party,” says Blair. “The value of a great top with some degree of detailing — along with a print adding the visual interest — adds endless possibilities. We photographed it on a waterfall for the catalog — as it should be displayed in the shop. You will want each and every one of these.”
Clubhouse Classics is a great foundation from which to build — this is your base. This assortment makes a fresh and colorful impact when you walk into the shop. Pink grapefruit and kiwi are mixed with white and grounding colors in Lagoon. These are fashion basics from which to wow, replenish, renew and evolve your season. The Haley Cool polos include the new paisley pieces. The fabric is textured yet lightweight, and the aerocool yarns yield a cool-to-the-touch product that performs on the course. A wonderful new 4-way stretch fabric accentuates the color pop in these collections.
The Camille sweater has a textured body and raglan sleeves, giving it a long and lean silhouette. It’s designed with a nylon mix for a technical spin. From the non-print prints to the geometric focus, the patterns, textures and solids all work together for a unique concept to maximize your floor space with product turnover.
Malibu combines lagoon blue and bright white contrast with heather greys, for a simple-yet-elegant way of dressing. It mixes trend with simplicity. This group engages graphics and geometric florals for a bit of attitude, while an ombre skin polo adds elegance. Our new raglan crew neck sweater adds a touch of metallic, while a full-zip mélange jacket features stripe detailing on the collar. Notice the contrast piping on the clover print raglan and a Swarovski hot fix on the mélange striped polo. The Gingham check short is a roadmap piece for this collection, as well as the Miley set — polo and skirt — that adds a bit of futuristic chic.
St. Bart’s features pink grapefruit and bright white contrast with deep navy, for a new approach to traditional and smart. We updated a classic preppy plaid and popped the pink grapefruit in a simple grid print. Stripes bring a touch of nautical, whether on the Breton-influenced striped sweater or the ¾-sleeve polo with contrasting cuffs. Florals are key here, whether in the rose print skirt or in an artistically rendered adaptation that looks on trend under the color-blocked jacket. Small print on the ankle pant works as a basic, back to almost anything in the group. This is a classic Spring collection…clean, fresh and inspiring.
Kiwi and white are grounded with black in the very elegant Fiji collection that’s Chanel-inspired. A houndstooth skirt is trimmed with white, modernizing a retro feeling. A swirl print asymmetrical ¾-sleeve polo pops an optional kiwi on the turned-up cuff. Polka dots and plaids add excitement to the tops, and the Lani set of paisleys work separately or as a dress. A Bedford cord short is your go-to bottom with any of the tops, adding a bit of texture to the overall effect. This group is rich in feminine flair and sporty elegance.

Antigua To Serve As Official Golf Apparel Licensee for 2015 U.S. Solheim Cup Team

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 15, 2015

Antigua To Serve As Official Golf Apparel Licensee for 2015 U.S. Solheim Cup Team

PEORIA, ARIZ., September 15, 2015 -The Antigua Group, Inc., one of the nation’s leading designers and marketers of lifestyle and golf apparel under the distinguished Antigua brand, has been named the official apparel licensee for the 2015 U.S. Solheim Cup Team. The 2015 Solheim Cup will be held at Golf Club St. Leon-Rot in Germany, September 18-20.

“We have had the good fortune to design and develop the Ryder Cup uniforms for the American

team back in 1993 and now three times for the LPGA and the Solheim Cup Team in 2011, 2013 and now in 2015″, said Ron McPherson, president and CEO of the Antigua Group. “These opportunities are a great honor and recognition for our brand and company.”

Though the international competition doesn’t take place until September, the process of designing and developing the team uniforms alongside U.S. Team Captain Juli Inkster and U.S. Assistant Captain Pat Hurst began in late fall 2014. The designs were finalized in January.

Over the course of the yearlong development process, Antigua, along with the U.S. Solheim Team, created the team uniform concept. This involves choosing fabrics and designs appropriate for the field of play during a particular time of year in a specific seasonal climate. Antigua also developed samples and the will fit of each potential team member in advance of the final team selection, a process that involves two separate fitting and alteration sessions at separate LPGA Tour events.

“It’s been great to work with the staff at Antigua, and they have always been a terrific supporter of the LPGA,” U.S. Captain Juli Inkster said. “They’ve been very enthusiastic about clothing the United States Team, and I’m really excited to see our players dressed in their red, white and blue.”

The final uniforms will consist of two separate apparel changes per day for the tournament rounds, as well as additional outfits for each day of the practice rounds. The process of designing the U.S. Solheim Cup Team uniforms from beginning to end took more than a year.

“All of us at Antigua are very proud to have been chosen by the LPGA to design and develop the uniforms for the 2015 U.S. Solheim Cup Team matches,” McPherson said. “This opportunity is a great honor and undertaken with pride for Antigua company-wide as the development and logistics that are involved with each department play a critical part in the final execution of the process. We have had terrific directional meetings with LPGA staff and of course Captain Inkster.”
